GAP Project – Final Project Meeting in Berlin, Germany
The GAP project, which aimed to make tourism more interactive and engaging through games, has finished its work.
European partners gathered in Berlin in 14-15 January 2025, to complete the final steps of this successful project.
The project produced several valuable resources: five national research reports on gamified tourism, a free online course in six languages covering heritage management and sustainable tourism practices, and five customized urban games that combine fun with learning about sustainable tourism. These games are available for free on the SEPPO application.
The final meeting highlighted the importance of creating meaningful experiences that encourage tourists to actively explore and enjoy different places. The project team will now organize local Multiplier Events to share these resources and teach people how to develop their own urban games.
